  Biography  

Dr. Margaret Johnson

Margaret Johnson is a Consultant Physician of General Medicine, HIV/AIDS and Thoracic Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust. Since her appointment, she has set up the first and largest open-access HIV testing clinic in the UK and has started the first specific clinic for women with HIV infection. Her interests are antiretroviral antibody testing, clinical trials of antiretroviral agents and HIV infection in women. She is now the Medical Director of the Royal Free Hospital, London, and the current secretary of BHIVA.
