  Biography  

Pr. Christine Katlama

Professor Christine Katlama is Head of the AIDS Clinical Research Unit (2500 patients) in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris. She is also Medical Chairman of CISIH (Centre de l’information et de Soins de l’Immunodéficience Humaine) Pitié-Salpêtrière. Her main topics of interest are clinical anti-retroviral drugs and vaccine therapy. Professor Katlama is a member of ANRS (French National Association for HIV Research), President of European AIDS Clinical Society, a member of European Network on AIDS (ENTA), a member of HIV Medicine Editorial Board, a member of Journal Antiviral Therapy Editorial Board, as well as a member of several International HIV advisory boards for pharmaceutical companies.
